IM Solutions is a management consultancy business which draws on 30 years of commercial experience spearheaded by Ian Moseley, building teams and companies in the UK.

Specialising in IT for the last 10 years, but regularly getting involved in Buildings, Retail and Exhibitions. Over the last few years we have been involved in realising shareholder value/company sales in the start up and SME IT space.

We strive to work with Exec teams to find the best commercial solutions, operating as Consultants on a day or project basis, but regularly filling permanent roles for periods of 12 - 36 month.

  • Ian Moseley had early Corporate grounding as management and store operations with Marks and Spencer followed by a key role developing the Retail Principals for Texaco UK

  • As Retail Director at the Original Factory Shop, the business was aquired from Peter Blacks before the group was grown to over 50 shops with 800 employees leading brands such as Cape Country Furniture, BrandMart and The Original Factory Shop which was successfully sold in 2003.

  • Joining Umberto Giannini’s in GM change management capacity, the business was restructured into franchising. Involvement in the product group, as well as the fit-out and launch of the Selfridges store were part of this 3 year term.

  • Roman Originals had grown as a retailer from manufacturing into Factory Outlet centres. Ian joined to spearhead the High Street expansion before project managing the successful website integration.

  • The Green Bike Company took the opportunity of a renewed national enthusiasm for cycling which resulted in a successful Website & 2 retail stores. Bianchi, Merida, Scott, Dawes being a few of the brands. The business was built on Service and the community of people who’s lives were transformed by the fitness and social benefits cycling brings. Peaking in 2012 after the Olympics, the business closed it’s doors in 2015.

  • Rebooting a struggling critical software project moved IMSolutions into IT. Building a development team to 25 and creating a self perpetuating Agile environment in a Skunk Works project.

  • This 2 year project delivered Biometric Payment solution pilots to Universities such as Brunel London & Copenhagen Business school

  • Initially owning a new HO and IT delivery, IMSolutions were then engaged to deliver a new product lifecycle process to this leading Call Centre PCI payment security application. This delivered a successful sale of the business in 2020.
